SHIPPING, RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
This Shipping, Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from The Wanderleaf Co. and Wanderleaf Direct. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.
Shipping
Orders are shipped to the shipping address provided at checkout. Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information is complete and accurate before submitting an order.
The Wanderleaf Co. is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
Orders are shipped as soon as bulk shipment arrives and is sorted and orders are packaged.
Shipping charges flat fee and are non-refundable once an order has been processed for shipment.
Shipping Delays
Delivery dates provided by shipping carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
The Wanderleaf Co. is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, mechanical failures, natural disasters, labor disruptions, customs inspections, or any circumstance beyond our control.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, as outlined in our Purchase Agreement.
Weather Holds
To help protect live plants during periods of extreme weather, The Wanderleaf Co. reserves the right to delay shipment until conditions are reasonably safe for transit.
Weather holds are made at our sole discretion and are intended to improve the likelihood of safe delivery.
Delivered Packages
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and retrieving packages promptly upon delivery.
The Wanderleaf Co. is not responsible for damage resulting from packages left outdoors, delayed retrieval, exposure to extreme temperatures, theft after delivery, or improper storage following delivery.
Local Pickup
Local pickup is available by appointment.
Customers will be notified when their order is ready for pickup.
Orders must be picked up within four (4) calendar days unless other arrangements have been approved in writing.
Orders not collected within this timeframe will be considered abandoned. The Wanderleaf Co. reserves the right to cancel the order, return products to inventory. Refund will be given minus 20% restocking fee due back to The Wanderleaf Co.
Live Arrival Claims
All Live Arrival claims must be submitted within 24 hours of the carrier's recorded delivery time.
To be considered, claims must include:
- An uninterrupted unboxing video beginning before the package is opened.
- Clear photographs of the affected plant(s).
- Photographs of the packaging if shipping damage is suspected.
- Your order number.
Failure to provide the required documentation or to submit the claim within the required timeframe constitutes a waiver of any Live Arrival claim.
Live Arrival applies only to plants that arrive dead or with severe shipping damage. It does not apply to cosmetic imperfections, minor leaf damage, normal transplant stress, natural variation, acclimation issues, or conditions disclosed in the product listing.
Returns
Due to the perishable nature of live plants, all sales are final.
Customers should carefully review all product information before placing an order.
Refunds
Refunds are not available for:
- Buyer's remorse
- Ordering the wrong item
- Failure to read product descriptions or policies
- Natural variation in live plants
- Cosmetic imperfections
- Differences in variegation, coloration, size, leaf count, or root development
- Acclimation failure
- Improper care after delivery
- Shipping delays beyond our control
- Missed deliveries
- Refused shipments
- Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer
Approved refunds, when issued, are made solely at the discretion of The Wanderleaf Co.
Laboratory Stockouts
Occasionally, the laboratory may be unable to fulfill a requested tissue culture after an order has been placed.
If this occurs, customers will be offered either:
- A refund for the unavailable item; or
- A substitute plant of comparable value, if available.
Order Cancellations
Orders submitted through Wanderleaf Direct are placed specifically for each customer.
Once an ordering window has closed and the laboratory order has been submitted, orders cannot be canceled or modified.
If The Wanderleaf Co. cancels an order due to product unavailability or another circumstance within our control, any applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.
